How to Stop Glo Networking from cutting During Browsing (Data Connection on and Off settings)

Yes, here we come to the main post, follow the steps carefully and ensure you inputted the right settings I will provide here.

Steps for Glo On and Off settings

  1. Go to your Android phone settings
  2. Select Network and Internet
  3. Select Mobile Network
  4. Click on Access Point Name (APN)
  5. Click on the Plus + button to create new APN
Now input the following in the new APN
  • Name: NowGistReporters or any other name you want but not Glo
  • APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net (you will observe that this APN belongs to MTN setting but don't worry it will work even on Glo, remember the aim of this post is to stabilize your data connection)
  • User Name: None
  • Password: None
  • Authentication Type: (Leave here blank)
  • Leave any other remaining settings as blank
After you have inputted all these settings, save it and reboot your phone to initialize the settings.

When your phone reboot you will observe that your Glo network Data connection will be steady it will not off and on like before.

Conclusion

I believe you have applied these settings and your network is now stable unless you don't have Glo subscription on your phone that's when you won't browse or your Glo network will strip off.
